Historic Sunnyside Country Club was designed by William P. Bell and opened its doors is 1911 as the only golf course in existence between Monterey and Los Angeles. The course measures 6,950 yards from the championship tees and is known for its tree-lined fairways, beautiful bunkering, and challenging bentgrass greens.
Sunnyside's golf course is overseen by Argronomist, Paul Cushing and course Superintendent, Jose Aguilar along with their fantastic team whom maintain a the golf course 365 days a year. The course is overseeded in the winter time to maintain green fairways when the rest of Fresno plays on dormant Bermuda. The firm, fast greens are consistently some of the best in the valley. Most 18 hole rounds only take three and a half hours and tee times are not required.
